Afghanistan faces an ‘explicit assault’ on the rights of young women
Spiked Online Editor Brendan O’Neill says Afghanistan is facing an “explicit assault” on the rights of young women after a bomb attack on a school in Kabul.
The attack was conducted by suspected Islamists and killed at least 68 students – the majority of which were young girls.
“What a vile act that was, a real vile act of misogynistic barbarism," Mr O'Neill told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I think this should be the biggest story in the world, when school girls are assaulted in this grotesque way, there really should be more discussion about it.”
