Boris Johnson ‘a fraud when it comes to conservatism’

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is “a complete fraud when it comes to conservatism”, according to Sky News host Rowan Dean. Prime Minister Johnson claimed during a visit to an offshore wind farm in Scotland that Margaret Thatcher gave the UK “a head start” by closing several coal mines in the 1980s. Mr Dean said a more appropriate analogy to draw would be Boris Johnson “should be shutting down the windmill farms and the renewables industries in Britain”, because they are as much of a drain on the public purse as coal mines once were.
