Federal Budget goals centre on jobs-fuelled bounce back

Assistant Minister to the Attorney-General Amanda Stoker says the budget announcement tomorrow night boils down to promoting a jobs-fuelled bounce back from the pandemic. “Australia is already performing better than just about any developed economy in the world on the employment front”. “We have done a better job of protecting people’s jobs through the turmoil of COVID”. Ms Stoker said she feels confident the Coalition's strategy will create a situation where as many Australians as possible can participate in the nation’s economic recovery. “Everything else in this budget is about making sure every person in Australia … can have the security and certainty they need to have the confidence to keep investing in Australia.”
