‘I will always be opposed to quotas’: Nicolle Flint

Outgoing Liberal MP Nicolle Flint says staying true to her Liberal Party "principles" is why she will "always be opposed" to quotas. “To be true to our liberal party principles, we need to make sure we don’t lose sight of the reasons why we have been one of the most successful parties and governments and coalition governments in the world," she said. “One of the reasons is we believe in equality of opportunity not equality of outcome – it’s the simplest way for me to explain why I will always be opposed to quotas.”
