International forces must ‘answer the cries of the Afghan people’
International forces need to "answer the cries of the Afghan people" and make sure to evacuate those who are under imminent threat of being killed by the Taliban, according to Afghan Community Ambassador Sayed Hussainizada.
"Because already Taliban forces have a huge list of people they're going to go after in minority groups," he told Sky News Australia.
"The current visa process that people are pending on their results and reunions with loved ones - there's no efficiency on that ground.
"They have to increase the level of intake, as much as Canada's intake, at least 2,000 people from desperate groups that want to and have to be here or otherwise you will see the bloodbath on the streets of Kabul in Afghanistan."
