Lockdowns are probably ‘most costly peacetime policy’: Matt Canavan

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says lockdowns are probably “the most costly policy we’ve adopted during peacetime”. “And yet, there’s almost zero attempt to assess those costs and weigh them up against what else is going on,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Alan Jones. “That’s because a lot of those costs aren’t seen by the decision makers, they don’t see them, they don’t feel them, they’re not affected by them. “So therefore, they aren’t calculating them.”
