PM: National Cabinet ‘fully agreed’ to national COVID-19 plan

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says National Cabinet has “fully agreed” to the national plan which was announced in-principle last week. On Friday afternoon, National Cabinet met for the 50th time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, at a time when over 15 million Australians are living under lockdown conditions. Mr Morrison said the national plan will “take us to the position where we live with the virus” and will involve ultimately “saying goodbye to lockdowns once we reach 70 per cent vaccination of the population”.
