Sky News host Alan Jones says the politicians are silent on the “absurd notion” of ‘chestfeeding’. It comes as the Australian Breastfeeding Association has collaborated with the LGBTQ+ group Rainbow Families on a new guide for people who “chestfeed”. “Where is someone in a position of national leadership saying ‘this will not happen in this country’ – that’s all that needs to be said,” Mr Jones told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “The politicians are silent on any of this – Claire Chandler has had something to say – I mean this is absolutely absurd.”
