Sydney protesters will be met with ‘1,000 police’ if they attend anti-lockdown rally

New South Wales Police Commissioner Mick Fuller says people should not come to Sydney tomorrow to protest against the lockdown and there will be hundreds of officers ready. “Don't come into Sydney tomorrow to protest, if you do, you will be met by up to 1000 police who will be ready to deal with you, whether that be via the health orders or other laws,” he said. Commissioner Fuller said right now was critical for New South Wales to quash the virus and “coming into town to protest is not the answer”. He said the strike force “locked up over 60 individuals” and issued 200 infringements last week and protesters and will be deployed for this protest. “That will continue so if you turn up, you can expect the same sense of force.”
