Victoria launches parliamentary inquiry into COVID-19 impact on entertainment sector

A Victoria parliamentary inquiry is looking into the impact COVID-19 restrictions and responses have had on the events industry as operators hope to receive funding. The arts, music, and events industry has been severely affected by COVID 19 with organisations reportedly as much as 90 per cent of their income. The sector has struggled to reopen, seeing many shows cancelled and businesses folding as a result of the uncertainties wreaked by the pandemic.
