Victoria’s lockdown leaves parents ‘shattered’ over their children’s ‘suffering’
Melbourne GP Dr Stacey Harris says Victorian parents are left "shattered" and are at a loss as to what to do and who to go to as their kids are "suffering" amid the state's sixth lockdown.
"We can't do anything apart from trying to help these dear poor kids," Dr Harris told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
"I've got kids going on eating strikes because of this lockdown, kids saying they're going to jump out of windows to see their friends because their that desperate to see their friends.
"This sixth lockdown is doing way more harm.
"The harm of this and future lockdowns is explosive.
"It is to do with mental health, other health – it doesn't just stop."
